Hooke's law is a principle of physics that states that the force needed to extend or compress a spring by some distance is proportional to that distance.
Metal and non mental Metals - copper, brass, tin, steel, iron, gold, silver, zink and platinum. Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity. This makes them useful for cooking pots and pan and electric wires. Metals are shiny (lustrous). They are able to be hammered into shape (malleable ) and drown into wire (docile). Non metals include - carbon, oxygen, hitrogen and nitrogen. |
Plants and animal - The difference between plants and plants are that plants make their own food while animals don't, ex. Slug, snail, worm and spider.
Invertebrate - animals who don't have a back bone.ex slugs, spiders Vertebrate - animal who do have a back bone, ex. salmon, robin, frog and dogs. |
Tea bag experiment : we did a fair test in this experiment, which means out of the whole experiment only one thing changes but in this experiment the temperature was the only thing that changed. We got 2 beakers and filled it with the same amount of water which was 200 litres. We got our equipment which was, bursen burner, tripod etc. We added a tea bag to one of the beakers, which was the one that was boiling, then we watched as it changed to another colour. The other beaker, that wasn't boiling didn't change to a darker colour even when we added the tea bag, I believe this was because there was a temperature difference in both of the beakers. We eventually used a theometer to measured the hot beakers heat.
